Alakh Nayan Mandir is the manifestation of the philosophy and life of Her Holiness Mahatma Bhuri Bai
'Alakh', a saint revered for humanity, compassion and love for fellow
beings. 'Alakh' means 'that which cannot be seen', but still has the
"Ultimate Knowledge - The Third Vision". This
'Alakh Jyoti' guides Alakh Nayan
Mandir to move on the enlightened path.
Her Holiness Mahatma Bhuri Bai
'Alakh' resided in the holy city of Lord Shri Nathji (Nathdwara) of Rajasthan. Though belonging to an ordinary carpenter family, she attained great spiritual heights and realized that every creature around us is God in subtle form. With an unattached outlook towards life, she harmonized the
"One in All". Through her inward spiritual progress, she was able to circumvent all the intricate levels of philosophy. The essence of her life was that, we are fortunate to be born as human beings, and should be of service to the humanity. She rendered spontaneous service to everyone whosoever came to her.
This concept of selfless service to the humanity is at the core of every activity of
Alakh Nayan Mandir, and it inspires it to undertake still greater ventures towards removing the anguish of the blind who are mostly destined to suffer in silence.
