Alakh Nayan Mandir conducts programs like :

Awareness amongst the school children for Eye Donation through poster competition and alike.

Motivational campaign by vehicle rally in the city.

Publishing articles in the news papers, motivating eye donations.

Association with other NGO's especially Indian Red Cross Society, Mahaveer International, Lions Club, Rotary Club etc. for enhancement of awareness towards eye donations.

The institute has a full-fledged eye bank and transplantation center, which does the job of eye donation awareness, promotion, collection of the donor eye, its preservation and transplantation (Penetrating Keratoplasty). They eye bank commenced in October 2001 by the generous donation of Rs. One Lac by Smt. Surya Kumari Mehta in the memory of her father Late Shri. Pratap Singh Mehta. This eye bank is also a member of Eye Bank Association of India, which in turn is a member of International Federation of Eye Banks.
